Julie T. Pigott

Julie Pigott is the Director of Innovation Support in the Southern Company Energy Innovation Center.  In that role, Julie and her team support innovation activities across the enterprise by leveraging technology and platforms and identifying tools and processes that can enhance innovation activities.

Since joining Southern Company in 1994 as Director of Marketing for Southern Linc, Pigott has served as Vice President of Marketing and Customer Support for Southern Linc and as Assistant to VP and Sales Growth Support Manager in SCS Marketing and Program Management.  Prior to joining Southern Company, Pigott was responsible for all Marketing activities in Illinois for Ameritech Cellular.

A native of Northbrook Illinois, Pigott graduated from The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a bachelor’s degree political science.

Pigott resides in Brookhaven GA with her husband Mark and their children, Jake and Katie.
