Rebecca Zerwas

Rebecca Zerwas is a Manager on the Regulatory Affairs team for NRG Energy located in Austin.  She is responsible for covering regulatory policy, implementation, and market design issues at the Texas Legislature, the ERCOT ISO, and the Public Utility Commission of Texas with a focus on markets and emerging technologies.  Ms. Zerwas currently serves as the Chair of the Retail Market Subcommittee at ERCOT and Chair of the Retail Sector at the Association of Electric Companies of Texas.  Ms. Zerwas has previously served as a member of NRG’s internal innovation “Idea Forum”.

Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Business from the University of Texas at Austin.  Rebecca also obtained a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance from St. Edward’s University in Austin.
